Elopements

filed in

When it comes to planning a wedding that feels true to you, nothing beats the magic of an elopement in the heart of nature. Kylee and Jayce’s dreamy fall elopement at Mount Rainier National Park was the perfect blend of intimacy, emotion, and jaw-dropping scenery.

The couple got ready in a cozy A-frame Airbnb tucked into the forest, setting the tone for a romantic and peaceful day. Kylee wore a fairytale-inspired gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves and delicate details that floated effortlessly with every step. Her look was equal parts timeless and ethereal, exactly what you’d expect for a sunset ceremony in the mountains!

Emotional Mt Rainier Elopement

Surrounded by a small group of close family and friends, Kylee and Jayce exchanged heartfelt vows at the Sunrise Visitor Center area. With the sun just starting to set behind the snow-capped peaks, the lighting was warm and golden, casting a dreamy glow over the entire landscape. The fall colors were just starting to peek through, with burnt orange and deep red foliage dotting the golden grasses and evergreen trees. Their guests’ wardrobes were on theme for the occasion with their rich autumn tones that perfectly complemented the scenery. It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony for all!

Following their vows, the couple took advantage of the unbelievable alpine views with portraits at Tipsoo Lake. The trail was easily accessible and offered panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect way to explore together, soak up the beauty of the park, and create once-in-a-lifetime memories without the rush of a traditional wedding timeline. The rich colors of the surrounding foliage created such a beautiful and romantic backdrop for their photos. Whether you’re dreaming of a peaceful elopement or a private celebration with a few loved ones, Mount Rainier is one of the most versatile and gorgeous backdrops you can choose!

Perks of Weddings at Mt Rainier

Mount Rainier offers several entrances, but Sunrise is a favorite for couples looking for accessibility and fewer crowds. Unlike the more trafficked Paradise entrance, Sunrise tends to be quieter. There are hundreds of well-maintained trails that begin directly from the parking lot. The wide-open fields, wildflower meadows, and dramatic mountain views make it ideal for both ceremonies and portraits.

If you’re inviting family or friends, this area is a great fit! It’s easy to navigate and doesn’t require strenuous hiking to reach stunning viewpoints. You get all the beauty of an alpine elopement without having to sacrifice guest comfort or logistics. It truly is a location that checks all the boxes for couples who are dreaming of an adventure elopement!
