Planning + the big day
Helping plan your day is one of my favorite parts of this whole thing! Our time together during this process will be filled with planning calls, email check ins and questionnaires. We will work together as co collaborators to craft an unforgettable experience that feels completely authentic to you.
My shooting style is very emotive, inspired by a focus on nature and comes from a more documentary approach. I'm there to guide you through our time together but also strive to create space that allows you feel this moment deeply with your partner.
Much like my shooting philosophy, my editing style is also heavily inspired by colors found in nature like deep forest greens, alpine lake blues and rich browns. My tones tend to be earthy, moody and nostalgic.
04 how would you describe your style?
I take backing up and protecting your memories very seriously! I shoot every session, elopement and wedding on two consecutive cards so there are automatically two copies of each photo from the second I begin shooting. Your photos are then saved to multiple different hard drives and backed up to the cloud to ensure they are safe with various copies.
03 how will you keep our photos safe?
I have been a full time photographer and shooting elopements/ weddings since 2021. Prior to being a photographer, I worked in digital marketing and was a social media manager.
02 How long have you been a photographer?
For couples sessions, you can expect your full gallery within 3 weeks. For elopements and weddings, turnaround time is anywhere from 6-10 weeks depending on your package. I always send a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours of our time together!
01 When can we except to receive our photos?
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Absolutely! A vast majority of my couples are from out of state and many are experiencing Washington for their very first time. As a born and raised Washingtonian and an avid outdoors lover, I have extensive knowledge of various areas, our national parks, season and weather patterns, permits and so much more. Getting to share my own with others is such a special part of my job!

Seriously from the initial inquiry to the end of the wedding day, Tessa was so communicative, genuine, understanding and helpful with absolutely everything! She went above and beyond, just being our photographer and offered help with planning finding vendors and more. I seriously looked forward to every single one of our phone calls throughout the year, leading up to the special day. She was so helpful in the planning process and created a timeline that worked out so well and got us everything we wanted in a wedding day. Throughout the whole process from booking Tessa to planning calls to the wedding day, Tessa was proactive, easy to work with, professional, and brought a steady, joyful energy to the wedding day. Our family and friends also loved her too- I think that says a lot. I was not worried about anything photo related or schedule wise during the wedding day because she was prepared and took care of it ahead of time. Especially with my husband and I not being local to Washington, she laid out clear options in planning and the whole day went SO smoothly and we are beyond happy with our photos. Not only did my husband and I love working with Tessa, our families loved having her at our wedding. Tessa was so amazing to work with! At the beginning of the process she took time to answer our many pestering questions, set up phone meetings, and gave us a whole list of locations that she recommended for wedding day based on the general location we wanted (although she is very flexible and open to other options!). Day of, we were so impressed with how organized and prepared she was, although very flexible and easy to be around. She gave us Polaroids to take home with us that night, and had almost 100 pictures to us as our preview within 3 days! The pictures turned out absolutely incredible and we are so so happy with them. Couldn’t have imagined a better photographer for our wedding day!
